This exhibit piece is aimed at making a person question the reasons physical boundaries, such as fences, are put up. The chain-linked fence is comprised of several phrases spoken by United States government officials as to why a southern border fence is necessary.  The dirt on the ground is meant to be symbolic of the earth people choose to make claim upon. The piece is not meant to be for or against boundaries, but simply asking the viewer to question the concept itself.
