One of the most exciting aspects of being a designer is creating something new. The process of creating and re-combining ideas and elements and watching them take shape is a very fulfilling task.
When the Society for Biomolecular Sciences (SBS) and the Association for Laboratory Automation (ALA) merged to form the Society for Laboratory Automation and Screening (SLAS), I had the privilege of crafting the user experiences for their members. It was a fun project to work on but also one that challenged me technically. Being able to deliver this project was definitely uplifting.
