Sambucese is a collection of six wines to be released in 2020. I developed the labels by pulling motifs and symbols from the handicrafts and architecture of Sambuca di Sicilia, where the wine is produced. I modified the ornament through shifts in scale, reducing each design to a two-color blueprint. Each bottle bears the stamp of traditional Italian artistry, but minimal linework and crisp color unite to give the collection a contemporary feel.​​​​​​​
