Welcome Collection: Skin

To produce a launch campaign and additional promotional materials for one of two forthcoming exhibitions, one being called ‘Skin’ at the Welcome Collection, London, scheduled for the letter half of 2010. A exhibition which sees the skin to being one the largest and most visible human organ to man.Discovering as we age, our skin start to get thin, which is due to the decrease of collagen within the skin. This is because we lose the fatty tissues that area produce within the second layer of the skin cell, epidermis. Also seen to be part of skin elasticity in which I wanted to try and contribute this effect though the catalogues Knowing that each section/chapter would relate to ‘Object, Marks and Borders’ was going to be different and also related to the 3 layers of skin, dermis, epidermis and hypodermis.

The concept behind the catalogue was trying to get the essence and aspect of the fatty collagen whilst having a sort of a flowing theme within each other and try and use words that relate appropriate to the each of the main chapters, whilst holding all together by tight binding screw, to give off the tight hold of  skin
