NAIFA Survey Examines Income Demographics of Clients

The largest group, approximately 45 percent of clients overall, makes $50,000 to $100,000 per year. With lower tax refunds this year and other factors affecting the job market, financial advisors can offer Americans with low to middle incomes valuable insight about ways to make the most of their financial resources. 

In his comments, NAIFA CEO Kevin Mayeux, CAE, says that there are many professionals in the market who can provide quality financial advice. He also points to the survey data as an indicator that financial advisors are not just for the exorbitantly wealthy but for individuals of all incomes who want to make the best decisions for their money.
