The goal of this project was to spin the "Have a Nice Day" Smiley Face into another emotion and have the face reflect that change. The program I used to create this design was Adobe Illustrator. I chose to change it to "Have a Sheepish Day." For those that don't know sheepish means showing embarrassment from lack of self confidence or shame. So to make the face match the emotion and to create a pun, I made a embarrassed sheep. I created shapes with the pen and shape tools and combined them together to make the sheep and elements of the background. I used darting eyes, redness of the cheeks and, a bead of sweat to make the sheep as embarrassed looking as possible. I made the red cheeks using feathering. I also made a complementary background to complete the design. I added outer glow to the sun to make it look like its shining. I added drop shadow to the sheep to reflect the suns light shining on it. I made the bead of sweat by making a blue water droplet and added the plastic effect. I also added the sponge effect to the clouds to give them more detail.
