TAG Heuer is based in La Chaux-de-Fonds, Switzerland and is led by President and CEO Jean-Claude Biver. Jack Heuer, the great grandson of the founder, is the honorary chairman. TAG Heuer maintains a watchmaking workshop in Cornol, Switzerland and a watchmaking factory in La Chaux-de-Fonds, Switzerland. The TAG Heuer slogan is “Swiss Avant-Garde Since 1860”. 

TAG Heuer is a Swiss luxury manufacturing company that designs, manufactures and markets watches and fashion accessories, as well as eyewear and mobile phones manufactured under license by other companies and carrying the 
Tag Heuer brand name.

TAG Heuer began as Uhrenmanufaktur Heuer AG, founded in 1860 by Edouard Heuer in St-Imier, Switzerland. In 1985 TAG Group purchased a majority stake in the company, forming TAG Heuer. In 1999 French luxury goods conglomerate LVMH bought nearly 100 percent of the Swiss company.The name TAG Heuer combines the initials of “Techniques d’Avant Garde” and the founder’s surname.

Tag heuer formula 1 calibre 5​​​​​​​
We chose the watch formula 1 calibre 5. Using its tagline “The casual sports watch for a fast-paced life.” automatically we got inspired by the Formula 1 car we wanted to get inspirations from the race cars to create something meaningful and significant for the fans out there. It is a limited edition packaging. We used the racing tyres as packaging to remind the supporters out there how this packaging acts as a thank you edition of how much we appreciate them supporting the f1 big event every year. We also added the racing flag on the top to act as a finishing product like how the racers finished their race, bringing a whole new meaning to it.​​​​​​​

Description of Referenced Watch
Automatic men’s watch beautifully reflects the extreme performance and high-powered racing spirit of Formula 1. Fastened with a polished, fine-brushed stainless steel bracelet, this handsome watch features a 43mm polished, fine-brushed stainless steel case adorned with a black unidirectional rotating bezel. Protected by the scratch-resistant sapphire crystal glass, the brushed grey dial boasts white 12 and 6 hour markers, white baton hour markers and white hands all enhanced with luminescent markers, as well as a date window at 3 o’clock. Water resistant to 200m and powered by a Calibre 5 automatic movement with a power reserve of 38 hours, this powerful watch will keep you looking great both on and off the track.

Proposed Design elements:
We used the racing flag as a critical element on top of the packaging, together with recycled F1 racing tyres to make use of the concept of sustainability making it recyclable therefore it is sustainable.

Proposed Colour Scheme:
Red, Black, Sliver.
Proposed Material(s):
A is the cushion inside the box made out of velvet red material and directly below it is the manual and cloth for the watch. B is the lock for the watch. It is a twist and lock mechanism watch box. 

Followed by C, C is the reflective to glance through the watch made out of clear acrylic. Followed by D, D is the metal ring to resemble as a rim for the racing wheel. 

The outer box is made out of recycled tyres as mentioned on the proposed design elements above. Metal for the rim and the twist lock mechanism. But for the inner side will be matte black acrylic.
