Noggin the Nog is a popular British children's TV character created by Oliver Postgate and Peter Firmin. It was originally broadcast in 1959-1965 and 1979-1980. Noggin is a kind, unassuming King of the Northmen, in roughly a Viking age.His adventures include fantastical elements such as dragons, flying boats and talking birds.
These are some initial design concepts I have created if this series were to be adapted into live action. This is still a work in progress.
Thor Nogson Character Close Up
Thor Nogson is Noggin's closest friend and Captain of the Royal Guard. Nogson is unfailingly loyal to Noggin, despite how how he is not always the bravest of characters.
This character depiction was inspired by actor Mark Addy.

Graculus 'The Great Green Bird' is a close and wise advisor to Noggin and has the capability of human speech.
