The Road Sign 

NAB Flanagan Art Prize 2016 – Finalist

This indoor road sign is familiar in appearance and construction but contains mixed and bold messages. The everyday instruction notifies the viewer of impending choices but implies there is only one way to move forward. The pattern of jelly babies, displayed in red, orange and green, not only reference the traffic light instructions we interact with every day but the different stages of the journey we take as individuals in life and our links with those around us.
