Located in the heart of the business district of Miami, FL, Brickell City Centre offers multipurpose use as a whole. From the -two-residential towers, mid-rise office buildings, EAST Miami Hotel, and the 4 separate towers of food and shopping, Brickell City Centre offers a wide rand of possibilities. It targets all ages and demographics. According to Google Analytics “67,000 people in Miami-Dade county are visually impaired out of the 400,000 living in this country. In the area of Brickell, Miami 15 % of people in this area of 1 mile are blind.” To be able to create all new environmental design for Brickell City Centre that meets the needs of all types of people we need to take into consideration that 15% of people in this area of 1 mile are blind. By creating an overall platform of designs that are able to be physically touched this brings Brickell City Centre to an entire new level. The usage of the materials such as, hedge and solid wood are essential because all materials can be touched to feel what is being displayed. Areas for braille will also be inserted throughout.
