For my self promo card, I used a paper texture background, a photo of an unorganized work area (my area tends to get messy and my puppy is ALWAYS in my stuff) and a few filters and masks. I got my photo, copied it and applied a find edge filter on the bottom copy. Then, I set the blend mode to multiply and added a mask to mask out the edges using a splatter brush. The top layer, I changed the blending mode and used a layer mask and brush to add in low opacities of the colors back. I added a quote about chaos to the card and tried to use that I thought might go along with the theme of the card.

These other 3 are different options that I played around with to get different effects with the same photo. They include a lighting effect, a color effect and a 'grunge' effect.
