The Aquarium in Bergen

Client: The Aquarium in Bergen.

Situation: This was a two part assignment; there are an increasing number of cruise tourists visiting Bergen, and the aquarium wanted to know how and where to target them. They also wanted new ideas for what they could build inside the aquarium that would attract more customers.

Target audience: 1. Cruise tourists visiting Bergen. 2. The people of Bergen.

Goals: To let tourists know that the aquarium exists, and make them visit.

Solution: The aquarium was given an informative and detailed strategy on the cruise tourism, which is what they asked for. We also made a few elements that they could use based on the information that was given to them; a print ad, a poncho design and a shuttlebus design. The poncho was meant to be handed out onboard the ships, and the shuttlebus would be driving between the ports and the aquarium. Both the poncho and the shuttlebus would serve as living advertising for the aquarium.

For the aquarium to build we came up with the idea of a jellyfish tunnel leading in to a noctilucales room. To promote it we made print ads. We also made an application for the aquarium that could be used for the entire target audience.
