The client, Hawaiian-Philippine Company, had been in the sugar manufacturing since 1918. The idea to package muscovado sugar came into being in response to the growing demand for unrefined, less-processed brown sugar. Antique, in Southern Philippines, produces one of the best muscovado sugars and in representing the origins in the design, a line art was produced to encapsulate the rituals of this idyllic sugar place.
