long branch shelter paragraph #1 

Long Branch shelter located in Macon North Carolina along the Appalachian  Trail (AT).  For this shelter I looked up what kind of trees grew along the AT. And one them was a Birch tree. There are over 50 shelters that are along the AT that the hikers stay art. 

For this logo I wanted too represent the name itself. So I created a branch coming out of the word Long. Then to actual name itself I wanted to represent the bark of the tree. And I notice just from looking at my trees at home how they have different browns, greens, and grays. So I added some distressing to the words and then put the green behind to immolate bark on a tree.
