For this tour I was able to work on an entire system of presentation looks used by We Day to create a background for their many speakers and guests. Each look consisted of a main screen animation incorporating the We logo as well as a branded particle animation that would play on the banner and column screens spread through-out the stage. 

We Day Toronto is the first show of the tour and I was lucky to be able to attend this one and take a bunch of photos. It's great to see our designs in context on the big day:

The last stop of the tour is We Day California in Los Angeles which is a special show, with certain parts being filmed for broadcast on ABC. For the taping of these segments we made a unique logo loop that you can see below. This is an evolution of last years animated background with a cool new 3D element made up of metallic rings. We made a logo transition using the rings as well, these renders were real fun to work on!

I only made a few performance background for the tour this year, this is one of my favs: just a simple edit set to a beat for Bishop Briggs "River". You can see how it looks mapped out on set in a version below.

My big performance piece of this tour was Sick Boy by The Chainsmokers at We Day California 2018. This particle animation was created using audio data from a couple click tracks we were given. These created 4 different loops that were synced up with different parts of the song, this was a special one for sure!
