This typography book was created for Typography 1. The goal was to design a 100-page type specimen book with a theme and fonts of my choosing. I chose Frutiger, Bembo, Minion Pro, Bodoni, and Rockwell as typefaces to display. My theme was the ocean. I chose calming, beautiful blues and aqua colors, and used imagery of the ocean that I sourced. This typeface book, Oceans of Type, includes A-Z strings of each weight of each typeface, splash pages, and details of the characteristics of each typeface. 

Oceans of Type took over 70 hours to create, as it was a large and complex project. The final result was worth it though, as it is a beautiful type specimen book that elegantly showcases five common typefaces.
