A+DxR looks into the production of a double deep (floating) diptych surface trading on thematic emphases of the musical composition, Peter and the Wolf, a 'symphonic fairy tale for children', written by Sergei Prokofiev in 1936. Other emphases take shape from Calvino's Invisible Cities, Historic documents such as tax receipts, women's voting rights, Ordinance of Secession, etc. These influences partake in a reimagination of and reappropriation of narratives, figures, and speculative drawing instruments that conduct operations that engage the drawing physically and through narrative. The images below are in consecutive order of Arriving (A), Disappearing (D) and Rebooting (R).
