KRESTOVSKI STADIUM
The Krestovski Stadium is a football stadium located in the city of St. Petersburg, Russia. It is the local stadium of FC Zenit St. Petersburg and one of the venues for the 2017 FIFA Confederations Cup, the 2018 Soccer World Cup and the European Championship 2020.The stadium was built on Krestovsky Island - from which it owes its name - where the old S.M. Stadium was located. Kirov, demolished in 2006 and first stadium of Club Zenit, so he will return to his original site 27 years later. With an expenditure of more than one billion dollars and after Gazprom refused to invest more money in the project, the stadium is the most expensive in the world at the timeof its inauguration.
