'Croco-friendly' is a self-initiated project involving my longtime companion and alter ego 'Croco'. This time I illustrated Croco through a series of eco-friendly behaviour to raise awareness on the simple steps one can take on a daily basis to live a more sustainable life. These steps are based on my own journey as I'm still learning.
I'll update this project with new tips as it goes.
Create your own cleaning or beauty products! Genius!

I went for laundry liquid. I used to refill my bottle of 'ecover' at the corner shop but decided to go one step further and create my own. Only three ingredients are required!

I made a 3L batch only using water, grated Marseille soap, few spoons of soda and drops of lavender oil!
Re-use or collect a lot of bocals!

There is now more and more place where you can buy all kind of products in bulk and those bocals can come handy.

I'm not actually bringing them all to the shop but they give you paper bags to put your products in and weight them. This way you can cut down the amount of packaging and therefore plastic waste. It also proves quite economical.
Re-usable tote bags!

Now the proud owner of a dozen of them it has not been easy to get rid of the habit of plastic bags. I've been growing up with the single use of plastic for a lot of things and grocery bag was one of them.

Tote bags are very fashionable now. Either you're going to the market or casually strolling in a gallery there is a bag for you. And when you don't use it you can fold it in your pocket. It is as simple as that!
