Sewanee 1899
Sewanee 1899 is an initiative began by two alumni to uncover the rich history of Sewanee’s 1899 football team. They are producing an ESPN inspired documentary and kicked off a fundraising effort with the launch of this website.
My process for the site included strategizing online fundraising methods, creating a project scope based on the most viable products, developing a structure to define how users interact with the site and mocking up a skeleton through sketches and wireframes. Once approved, I was able to produce high-fidelity mock-ups of the surface in Sketch and InVision then exported and implemented the designs in WordPress. I made sure the website was mobile responsive and highlighted the prominent Donate button. In an 8-month span, they were able to raise approximately $120,000 of sponsorship dollars.
