Easter is a story of contrasts. Death and resurrection. Expectations and disappointments. Loss of hope and its return. Triumph of evil and its defeat. Injustice and Grace.
Jesus paid it all.
This is the result of the cooperation between an artist and an animator. The idea was to get this grungy brush animation style. In order to accomplish it, I used a combo of scanned and layered paintings plus brush transitions plus frozen stone textures.
