A very realistic and detailed sound
design that reflects the creativity of Audible
Case Study
Audible is aimed to an audience that enjoys and appreciates sound rhetoric.
This makes it a perfect project to propose a soundscape where there’s fusion
between music and foley, allowing the elements to dilute and blend together.
Our objective was to create a soundscape that would have an impact on this
type of profile. We designed the foley in a typically artisan fashion: we recorded
all kinds of effects with objects and gadgets in the studio, adding multiple layers
in the background (about 200 in total).
The challenge was to combine a very realistic and detailed sound design that, at
the same time, reflected the creativity of the product found in Audible. The music, through a simple pulse, generates a rhythmic grid in which the effects are then
placed.
As a result, the listener discerns musical proportion that is subtle and unexpected.
