This was a quote found about the band The Go-Go's by a journalist in the '80s, "The Go-Gos are to music what Botulism is to tuna." For the record, I really like The Go-Go's. The quote was typed into Photoshop, printed on 11" x 17" paper, then scanned. I like the serendipity of moving a scan in progress. It's a throwback technique to the ditto machines (think Xerox before the contemporary Xerox) and the punk rock ethos. After scanning, it goes back into Photoshop, then printed, cut out, gel medium applied and adhered to a wooden board.
