My Passion For Marine Biology

My name is Claude Emmanuel Pressoir, and I am passionate about Marine Biology. I have interest on anything that has to do with marine life. I love what I do. For this reason, I would like to share my work with you.

#1: I was looking at this animal in order to determine which specie it was.

#2:
#3: Some fishermen caught this little turtle. They wanted to kill it because they thought that it didn't matter. However, I convinced them by teaching them about the consequences their actions could cause.
The reason why we measure the turtle is to determine its length which sometimes might help us know if it is an adult or a young turtle. We do that for every animal we get to save so we can keep track on them.
Finally, they gave it to me. An later, I released it into the ocean where it belongs.
#4: This baby shark also called nurse shark was caught by a fisherman in Petite Riviere de Nippes. Again, I had to convince him to liberate it. People often see sharks as a threat; however, some of them can be very friendly.
The shark was set free later that day. I chose to do it at night time just so people wouldn't feel uncomfortable or insecure.
#5: Unfortunately, the shark below was found dead. As I previously mentioned, people often tend to think the worse when it comes to this animal.
This picture is showing me taking samples from the dead shark so I can send them to some experts in order to study the specie, its life and evolution.
#6: Random day at Petite Riviere de Nippes. Swimming with the dolphins.
Protect all the marine species at all costs. They deserve to live.
