This piece is an exploration in self-expression. It features an extremely personal work of poetry in a very public setting. Baskerville was chosen as a typeface because of its expressive yet classic look and feel. The poem was typeset in white vinyl against a clear pane of glass to evoke a sense of transparency. One of the biggest challenges was signing the piece. Featuring the author’s name larger than any of the other elements absolutely stripped away any walls or barriers of anonymity.
