User Personas

While working at Information Technology Services, we advised a wide-range of campus departments on redefining their information architecture and site design while keeping one focal point in mind: our users. The following personas were created through interviews with students and staff, student demographics, and observations at San Francisco State University. As a student designer, I brought a fresh perspective to the project, incorporating not only my own experience, but the experiences of students in my classes. These user personas were used and reworked for website redesigns for departments such as Housing, Strategic Marketing and Communications, Development, Business, Health and Wellness, and more.
