R for Reflection. Remember those days when nothing suited? Rifling through old clothes brings back memories...This collection reminisces the teen years, marking the nostalgia of being a teenager and the turn towards adulthood. Based on the contrasts of light and dark, key elements of this look are texture through fabric, print and illustration. A make-do-and-mend philosophy is explored through cross-stitch, naive stitchwork and colouring on jeans and t-shirts. Print work is sketched or photographic. RETRO in rememberence.

R for Refraction. This Injection collection would be merchandised with the RETRO ROYALE label as must-have day-to-evening wear pieces. Items scattered with Shimmering sequins and reflective embellishments on lustrous finishes accent the informal elegance of this label, emphasizing a luxurious and exclusive appeal that remains “Retro” and would sit well with pieces from the RETRO Women’s label in it’s entirety. Pieces can be mixed with any style to achieve the desired look be it grunge or Chic.
Aimed toward a sophisticated, contemporary customer, REFRACTION evokes opulence, seduction and fun through embellishment and drape fabrics such as georgettes, garment-washed silk cottons and silk jersey mixes and knits. These injection pieces are truly feminine. RETRO on reflection.

A night-day collection for rocker chics. my favorite item being the elongated white tee. At the time, I saw this paring well with a black leather skirt and a messy up-do.

A collection for the "grunge academic", these styles were designed with a geeky edge - great for up and down dressing. I imagined this dress with a pair of skinny jeans, lots of jewellery, a black, fitted leather jacket, touk and plimsolls.
