Italian brand of fine balsamic vinegar

This is my individual thesis project made at the Academy of Fine Art of Urbino. It is about a branding project for an hypothetical commercial product, in this case an Italian balsamic vinegar brand called Nero, completely invented by me.
To create this branding project, I have been through many steps like the naming and logo design, the choice of the general concept, the design of the corporate identity, the products packaging, the web design and the shop design. The result is a simple and clean design able to bring off the features of this premium product, available just online — inside the Nero e-commerce — and by the boutiques of the brand located around the world.
The brand name comes from the Italian word "NERO", which means in English "BLACK", one of the most famous features of the balsamic vinegar.
The whole project starts from a handmade sketch made with black india ink on white watercolor paper, which has been used during the whole branding work. The material that have been chosen for the whole packaging work is the ceramic — both in black and white — biocompatible, wear and temperature resistance and reusable.
