The main attribute of the project’s lot is it disposition as a median between both Batroun’s new & old town districts. The initial response to the surrounding area is to mimic the ambiance, to maintain balance. In addition, the importance of creating negative spaces to lure the user into the project’s main square which serves as the area’s only green space. For as the internal relationship between the governmental buildings, characterized by their globalist non-local aesthetics, & the newly added ones, the main vision was to integrate these buildings into their surrounding environment by using structural medians to fully implement them, to no longer be perceived as disturbing.
