Hot Springs National Park Trail Pack
Product Design
This image was a weekly assignment for an illustration boot camp class I took a few years ago. This assignment was to create a repetitive pattern and use it as a textile for a bag or backpack. The backpack gave me the idea to turn a Hot Springs trail map into a repetitive pattern. I painted a quick landscape color wash on a page and scanned the image and blended these elements with a canvas texture. The final result has a gender-neutral rugged trail pack feel. To finish the design, I created some iron-on patches with Hot Springs National Park themes to compliment the final pack design.
These images were created for a personal project in 2018.
