Richard Branson Anatomical Illustration
I was hired by Virgin Active to illustrate and produce an anatomical cross section of Richard Branson. To add whimsy and brand awareness to a typically clinical space, the interior designer, who was inspired by the sculptures of renowned artist Jason Freeny, commissioned this quirky illustration to be displayed in the biokineticist's consultation rooms situated in their health club.
Organs, bones and surface details were all separated to achieve the cross section effect.
The label copy on the printed item was made up of quotes that Richard Branson has made during his career, with each one appropriately connected to a related body part .
