This is an illustration of a fictional magical object which is used for divination on coffee grounds. This artwork was created using my personal references. It is made in photo art (photo collage) technique using Adobe Photoshop with some additional drawing and processing. All elements of this device are the result of my imagination and (on my idea) must take part in divination and prediction process. So make a cup of coffee and take a look into your future!

In process of creating this illustration I made some sketches of this magical object to compose the shape and functionality of this appliance. It should be like 19th century decorative elements and victorian devices. I took some inspiration from victorian fairy tales, illustrations and museum objects.

Everything was composed using simple photos of regular objects around me. I used more than 30 photos to create this illustration. I show some of those objects below. No special shooting was made, just regular daylight photos. Everything was corrected in Adobe Photoshop.
