Crooked Straight Media is a production team and artist network founded at Prairie View A&M University in 2016. Our purpose on campus is to highlight the unique talent, innovation, and creativity of the students. We serve the students and community by providing a platform for them to build their brands as well as the production tools to execute ideas. Our ultimate goal is to become experts at our craft.

PV GUMBO was intended to do precisely that. On November 1, 2018 we brought an indoor music festival to our HBCU with live performances, fashion, vendors, treats, and yes–we served REAL gumbo catered by Sodexo. All these things make up ONE UNIQUE FLAVOR, the perfect mixture of art and business. I had the honor of being the art director for this amazing project along side with my partner in creation who assisted me with the creative direction. My amazing graphic design committee helped by providing graphic support for necessary promotional materials.
