Or Ring Road 1 is a paved road of 1,332 km that runs around Iceland and connects all the inhabited parts of the island. Few years ago I took this road with a rented red Jeep Wrangler and saw so many unbelievable places that even today it still feels like a dream to me. Some of the places I visited are: Reykjavík, Borgarnes, Blönduós, Akureyri, Egilsstaðir, Skógafoss Waterfall, Vatnajokull Glacier, Höfn, Jökulsárlón Glacier Lagoon, Seyðisfjörður, Mývatn Lake, Selfoss and many many more.
