FRIDA is a youth-led fund exclusively supporting young feminist organising all around the world. They approached me to help design a report for them based on a program they were running with their donors and the organisations receiving the funding, in the past year.
The over arching themes of the program were sustainability, forging lasting relationships, feminist solidarity and collective learning. For this project, the text was broken down in sections and illustrations were created based on the content provided, in order to make it look cohesive but also give the text some visual relief.

The process of illustrating was simple. Once the rough sketches were approved for each section, they were scanned in and colour corrected. Then they were coloured over digitally, still maintaining the textures rendered using a pencil in the sketch stage. Elements were added and removed until the desirable composition was achieved. All of the illustrations are a mix of analog and digital styles.
