CASA PALMAS.
Casa Palmas is a new events hall in Durango, México. Named after a couple of palm trees located at the entrance to their premises, their open-concept space and stylish decor is the perfect venue for all types of events.
We were assigned the task of creating an identity that evoked a modern and at the same time traditional aesthetic, and that therefore transmitted an air of elegance, experience and seriousness.
We devoted ourselves to deliver a balance between modern and classic elements. The icon takes inspiration from the aforementioned palm trees as well as the architecture and design of the facade of this building. We created a logotype with contrasting strokes weights that, when juxtaposed with the emblem, results in a well-balanced contemporary elegant identity.
The color palette is a subtle reference to the different shades of green found in the garland that flanks the coat of arms of Durango state, as a contrasting hue we have chosen gold; which brings a sophisticated flair, and that also denotes the importance of quality control of each and every of the projects in which Casa Palmas takes part.
