Rebranding for WeatherVain Jewelry by Long Live Simple LLC. Pamela Wright, owner and jewelry designer of WeatherVain Jewelry, is also a meteorologist for WYFF in Greenville, SC. We loved helping the owner Pamela craft a brand symbolizing her seasonal jewelry collections and highlighting her background in meteorology.
The jewelry line includes customized necklaces and earrings made from sustainable materials - recycled umbrella parts being the most unique - using shapes that symbolize weather patterns. From the first meeting, we met to brainstorm about Pamela’s existing logo that needed a refresh, our goal being to craft a new brand identity that reflects her talent and work. Pamela wanted an updated brand that is scientific, pretty, unique and fun. The result was hand-drawn logo lettering with a custom sub-mark combo, reminiscent of her original weathervane icon but made into a modern, custom and organic form. The brand vision evolved into creating an icon set and color coding to be used as labels for new seasonal jewelry collections.
