Updating A Brand Drives Traffic

Branding experts will tell you all day that anecdotally updating your brand will help drive traffic and sales. 
Data-driven companies such as Wordfence don't like gut feel and anecdotes. 

Funny thing: Once we updated the brand, traffic and sales rose exponentially.

Relevant useful content just gets found

A great way to kill two birds with one stone, is to do a yearly survey of the space. 

Editors and purchasers just want to know what's going on. We built the 2015 WordPress Security Survey, then posted the results online for everyone to see. Traffic is high to the survey, and trust went through the ceiling.

The power of searchable infographics

People want to know how WordPress Security works, so they search for it quite frequently.  We built an infographic two ways: a downloadable pdf to be incredibly useful and into a webpage to be incredibly searchable. The result is traffic.
