OLIVE ILLUSTRATIONS
In this project, I asked 16 people to collaborate in a project I was art directing.
The prompt I gave them was: illustrate in any medium and time frame on a white piece of paper their interpretation of the word Olive.
Below are the illustrations made by my friends. I asked them to sign each illustration.
I arranged the drawings from most literal interpretation to most abstract.
The book is an accordion style book with 15 illustrations. Each illustration is on a black background to show the materiality of the paper and the way it was manipulated.
