Save birth, even here

830 women die in childbirth each day.

The Safe Birth Even Here campaign is a UNFPA initiative to raise public awareness of, and mobilize private sector resources towards, maternal health interventions in both fragile and humanitarian settings and supporting interventions in Haiti, Kenya and Liberia. The overall objective is raise donations from members of the public towards UNFPA’s maternal health interventions in fragile and humanitarian settings.

Stop the clock.

The website starts with a powerful message that allows users to internalize the severity of maternal mortality globally. To emphasizes this idea, we create a clock that relates with the time spent in navigation - Moreover, it was combined with a powerful text appearing on screen: “Every 2 minutes, a woman dies giving birth.”
