My heart has always been close to animals. Photographing them is therapeutic for me because I would feel nature working at its best everytime I see these furry creatures. Manila Zoo is the best and most convenient place to go everytime I feel like capturing wildlife though my lens. One vivid image in my childhood memory was going to this zoo with my mother. Manila Zoo does its best to preserve and protect these animals and does everything to make the place just like their home outside the wilderness. But I have to admit how it breaks my heart to see animals as they held on to their cages, as if I was being told how much they wanted to be out of those steel bars. In spite of that, Manila Zoo never fails to welcome their guests with Maly the elephant, the aviaries, the other exotic animals and the parks where families could take a rest and have time to experience with nature. For a very cheap fee, it is very much worth visiting.
