Immediately I had this idea of the cat commanding a giant robot to chase dogs. I have a dog and a cat, they are constantly fighting (in a playful way), and that also fueled my idea.
I started sketching out some ideas, very loosely and a couple minutes after I had a solid sketch to work with.

The cool thing about these challenges is that the time is very limited, more so if you want a particular artist to review your submission which makes you work faster.
I had a pretty good idea of what I wanted to go with the illustration so, I went for a more refined drawing and inked it. While I was inking I decided to draw more "robot like" arms.
The light from below is to give a more scary look to the cat.
