Animated Badges

The Idea

We are living in a gamified world right now. We get badges, awards, accolades, points, power, particles, on a daily basis. I'm not complaining, they're fun when done well and implemented correctly but how can I add value, more of an experience, to these awards I send out. What can I do to communicate, excite, and entice a bit more?

I decided to animate some fake awards badges and see what would happen. The end result is fun and full of personality. A fun addition to a common sight.

CALL ME MAYBE
Awarded when one succesfully answers a call during a peer review or HR 1 on 1.

Awarded to those who succesfully change a client's mind by making them think the idea was theirs all along.
THE "NAYLOR"
The most coveted of awards. This badge can only be awarded by the man himself for impeccable dress, style, and general brilliance as a homosapien.
Thats right. It was such a coveted award that a limited edition poster had to be created to go along with it.

Awarded when a member of the UX team successfuly tweets over 100 times in the course of one work day. Legend has it that there is a level beyond the "tweeter" but no one has dared imagine what it could be.
THE UNICORN
What's that? You can do both visual and interaction? You know front end and can map out wireframes? You can research, wireframe, visualize, and code simultaneously while reciting Alfred Lord Tennyson's poetic works? Well slap a horn on your head and call yourself a unicorn!

What?! You don't believe in mythical creatures and can't believe anybody might be good at more than one subject?? Put that horse head on a platter...you're a unicorn killer.
