ASSIGNMENT ON INTERACTIVE EDUCATIONAL EBOOK

For my educational eBook it is about the freezing and melting point of a state, at home science experiment on making an ice cream with appropriate ingredients and salt and ice. In the eBook there will be a quiz consisting of two questions only. The design of my eBook is somewhat cute and sweet just like an ice cream in order to make users to not feel intimidated. In the eBook users will be able to interact with buttons that are clickable and available. To tell if the buttons are intractable users would have to hover over, click to know or follow arrows. The overall colour of my eBook is bright just like the art movement that I have looked into, but without the bolded outline. The colours used mostly in my eBook are yellow, orange, red and turquoise. The reason for this is to represent the cold(freezing point) and hot(melting point).
Firstly, the character design that I have created is an ice cream with eyes. However, initially the first sketch of ice cream I did look something like this. Image is shown below. Now you are able to compare the differences between the two ice cream that I have created using pen tool in Adobe Illustrator. All the final designs are compiled in Adobe InDesign and exported as SWF.
