Kingfisher bird is one of the most beautiful birds we have seen, and my inspiration for this woven collection rooted from the same. Different types of weaves has been explored in the several swatches below on a mini loom frame and is woven by hand. Inspired from a delicate pretty bird as the Kingfisher, materials used are not just threads. Feathers,felt and ribbons has been infused with wollen threads to give the same feel of the Kingfisher.
The fashionable belt to accessorize with outfits is created with a woven patch in the middle with raw silk fabric borders in blue and orange. The belt completes at the back with a beautiful bow with a long tail.
