It’s All in Your Head is a body of new oil paintings rooted in traditional portraiture, juxtaposed with a contemporary twist.

The works creatively explore different visual avenues of portraiture to go beyond a subject’s expression, appearance, and mood. Some of the works hover on the far fringes of the surreal, some of the works feel closer to home—but all invite the viewer to step inside the frame for a moment to the other side of the looking glass. But don’t overthink it... It’s all in your head.
