For his documentary about the life and work of the artist Trimpin, director Peter Esmonde wanted the poster to be powerful and evoke the work of his subject. To allude to the multiple dimensions of Trimpin’s work—he’s a composer and a sculptor—the typography prominently used in the poster was given both sculptural and musical characteristics. Supporting dvd covers, disc labels, and postcards were also created.
