The artist, after searching for years, finally finds the perfect space.
Marking this as the center of his new home, he unpacks his thoughts and slowly begins forming four walls around his rock. Four entrances keep him from feeling claustrophobic. The walls are experience catchers.
As he runs out of space he builds a second ring of walls just outside of the first. The thickness is variable.
...After some time, the house has expanded to several hundred concentric series of walls, forming ever-longer galleries for him to explore himself.
