Polar Inertia is an online journal that explores the networks that define the contemporary city. Entering its 10th year, Polar Inertia needed a new home on the iPad that let the contributor's work shine in its fullest. Working closely with the PI team, Art Meadow developed a fluid interface that let the user seamlessly explore projects and gave the photo essays the center stage. The end result creates a powerfully flexible structure for Polar Inertia Journal that is adaptable from issue to issue.
