LED have been chosen as the focal point of the artistic expression as they represent the contemporary hi-tech sensibility incorporated in both the present and the future but also because radiance and glow effect permeates the modern world, while the significance of its role in arts as well as in contemporary multi-media techniques is indisputable.
This chopping board is design to make life better in the kitchen. It’s not just an ordinary chopping board it has a built-in scale as well as a place where you can place your tablet or recipe book. Green LED lights will be place all around the chopping board, this gives it a modern feeling. The built-in scale has a single battery underneath and can easily be replace. The stand for the tablet can be adjust at any angel. This allows any type of user to be able to use it.

The reason why I chose to make this type of design is to make the users life better. We don’t use recipe books any more in the kitchen we usually use over tablets and there are not usually placeless where we can poet over tablets, so they don’t get damages or dirty. With this chopping board it allows your tablet to be out of danger, but the user can still see what is going on.
